A quick introduction, and What to Expect When You're Expecting ... a Blog Post
Welcome to the new blog! I'm pushing myself to write more so that I can share some of the advice and support I give to my birth clients with all of you. I recently sat down with the editors and writers at Oi Vietnam magazine to do just that, so take a look!
Birth is a natural process. Having a doula to support you during labor can help you keep it that way, even in a hospital environment.
The work I do as a doula is driven by a deep respect for the power that we have within each of us. We can all do amazing things. I want to help women believe that about themselves, as strongly as I believe it for them.
Going Forward
This blog is going to be part education, part affirmation, and part, um ... experimentation! My goal is to channel the knowledge and passion I have about pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding and overall wellness into this blog, translating the foundations of my in-person client support into a virtual format. I have so much that I want to share, and I really want to open up the opportunity to share more fully with anyone who is curious and interested.
